I welcome change in that I welcome the day that Sony is no longer an overwhelming #1. I welcome larger amounts of new IPs rather than a bunch of games with numbers after them. I welcome the day when the PS3 comes out and people are underwhelmed by a Sony console for once because they have seen what the competition has to offer and realized it is on par but cheaper. Most of all I welcome the (unlikely) day when all fanboys realize they are full of sh!t and decide to practice what they preac...
Nope, it runs at 30.
When talking about the competition you spend all your time standing next to a molehill with a magnifying glass trying to make a mountain out of it while paying little mind the real beauty all around you. Oh boo hoo the rain doesn't bounce back and the trees and grass don't sway. I didn't realize that was what we based our opinions on nowadays. Looks like every game for every system had better do that or else it's automatically unimpressive.
"the graphics is not that gre...
Let me get this straight. Treyarch makes the game but Infinity Ward has to patch it for them? That sounds wrong to me. Make Treyarch fix their own mistake and let Infinity Ward work on the game that truly deserves Call of Duty status.
And the original Syphon Filter.
"bt if the article says aka PS3 is gonna wipe the floor with it's competitor then it must be wrong to the Xbox fans or if it says it's gonna do bad which it wont, according to the Xbox fans it must be right, do you see my point!"
Another case of the pot calling the kettle black. If you're going to submit this, at least give credit where it's due...both sides. Don't just make it look as if it only goes one way because it doesn't.
GTA3 was PS2's first killer app, and that took longer to come out after the system launched than Gears did.
So what you're saying is Gears of War is NOT next gen? My eyes never lie to me and you do on a regular basis. Who do I believe?
Don't get me wrong, Blu Ray has its advantages, but being an integral part of the next gen experience isn't one of them.
We had the same problem here in Olympia (Seattle area) at Gamestop. They had the regular version in stock, but the limited edition was stuck in transit until today. Luckily, I preordered the game back before they anounced a limited edition and therefore got mine yesterday. Single player's awesome, multiplayer is amazing.
At least the premium 360 comes wth HD component cables out of the box.
My launch 360 was fairly noisy, about as loud as my original Xbox but not as high pitched. On the other hand, the newer replacement console they gave me when I sent mine in for repairs is quite a bit quieter. In fact the first thing I noticed was that it is quieter than the original Xbox I played for 3 weeks while my 360 was in for repairs.
I'm content with this. I bought this game over half a year ago. I didn't have to wait until November to get it. The way I see it, that alone makes up for the extra price.
If they come out with an expansion pack or Game of the Year Edition in a year like they did with Morrowind, I'm not going to complain that everyone who bought that version got stuff I didn't get even though I paid the same price for less game a year ago.
Both of these examples and the reasoning b...
I can see how you might bash a company for using middleware if you're some kind of purist or something. But when you are the company who developed that middleware, it's basically a first party engine.
Many sites have better looking screens than this. It's like you went to the bottom of the barrel to get these. It's obvious that you're trying to make a perfectly good game look bad. Are you that insecure about your PS3?
The game does not release on the 17th, Emergence Day is s...
If the Sony TV can't support a 1080p signal over component, period, then it's out of MS's hands. If the hardware was made to not be able to accept the signal, then no software update made by anyone can change that. Would you rather MS didn't put out the update simply because a certain piece of hardware was made that couldn't take advantage of it? There is no way to make it work on that piece of hardware regardless of who makes the update, because the TV was handicapped by the manufacturers...
Read the article. The bonus map is only a timed exclusive.
It's not the $7.99 I'd be worried about. It's the time I'd have to waste in order to play it.
I got a Samsung LNS3251D 32" LCD for my bedroom. It has a Game Mode and doesn't suffer from any noticable game lag (8ms response time), although my regular Xbox games don't look that great on it. (360 games have spoiled me I suppose) Incidentally, this is one of the TVs they advertise on this site at the bottom of the news menus. I got it brand new on Amazon for over $500 less than what they were selling it for at Best Buy. Also, just so you know, they do make the same model in 40&qu...
A different situation altogether, but when Dead Rising came out, people without HDTVs were complaining about not being able to read the text. They limited themselves to the highest quality and all they got were complaints. What if all next gen games were only playable on HDTVs? People would be complaining about being forced to upgrade their TV to play any new video games. There is a bad side to limiting yourself to only the highest quality, and this "1080p only through HDMI when it c...
Which game will be shown on the kiosks?
Maybe we can have them duel with real guns and be rid of that many more fanboys for good. j/k
